Philip "Phil" Panella

Philip A. Panella, 81, husband to Bonnie Dlugosz Panella, both of Rotterdam, New York passed away Sunday, May 22, 2024 at Ellis Hospital.

Phil was a proud graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and went on to Cobleskill Community College. During his career of 20 years, he was a well respected hairstylist, owning 3 hair salons. After retiring, he went on to import propane heaters and home decor. During retirement, he found great enjoyment in meeting new people and would frequently stop at someone’s table to tell a story or a joke. Philip was truly a blessing with his outgoing personality to many.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, from his bonus family he gained a daughter, 3 loving grandchildren and a great grandson.

Services are Monday, June 3 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals located at 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY from 5 to 7 PM. All are welcome.
