Phillip J. Knapp

BALLSTON SPA - Phillip J. Knapp. 48, of Ballston Spa, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Albany and is the beloved son of Edward R. and Jeannette M. Payeur Knapp of Ballston Spa.
Phil had worked for Saratoga County Department of Parks & Recreation and the Department of Public Works. He was an avid movie buff.
In addition to his parents, Phil is survived by his sister, Kimberly A. King and her husband David. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in North Milton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Society, Upstate New York Chapter, 6 Automation Lane, Albany NY 12205 in memory of Phillip J.
