Phillip T. Nous, 67, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Phillip was born on May 12, 1949 and was the son of the late Victor P. Catherine (Sanhein) Nous.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for most of his life.
He was an avid fisherman, but would only fish to catch and release. He enjoyed camping and his pride and joy was owning a Commodore 64.
On November 27, 1971 he married the love of his life, Patricia A. "Pam" McKeown, they would have celebrated 45 wonderful years of marriage in November.
In addition to his loving and devoted wife, Patricia A. Nous, Phillip is the loving father of Kurt T. Nous and the late Adam L. Nous; grandfather of Kaitlynn and Jaidynn Nous, son-in-law of Nellie M. McKeown, brother-in-law of Mary Nous and father-in-law of Kathleen (Loeper) Nous. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Victor and Kurt Nous and his father-in-law, Thomas G. McKeown.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
