Philomena Rosen

GUILDERLAND – Philly Rosen 56, went home to be with the Lord on May 17, 2007. Born in Albany on December 15, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Philomena Ragoni. After graduating from Cardinal McKlosky High School, she went on to a 35 year successful hairdressing career, where her talent and persona created lifelong relationships with her customers. As a Born-Again Christian, she was committed to guiding everyone she met to the saving grace of her Lord Jesus. Philly is the beloved wife of David Rosen of Guilderland. She is the loving mother of David, Alyssa and Eric. She is the cherished sister of Mary Gianetto, Tina Mason, Rose Maggio, Anthony Ragoni and the late Jeane Spears. She will be remembered dearly by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Susan Weaver of Albany Medical Center Oncology and to all the wonderful and talented staff of The Community Hospice of Albany County.
