Phylliss M. Lanier

ALBANY – Phylliss Lanier, 52, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home in Pittsfield, MA.
Phylliss was born on December 25, 1958 in Macon, GA and was the daughter of the late Bettye (Stewart) Freeman and Bobby Lanier.
Phylliss is survived by her loving daughter, Nika Lanier; her cherished grandchildren, Tahreem, Ahmone, and Shaylah; her loving siblings, Bob (Linda), Alvin (Charlene), Patrick, Dexter (Latrona), Sharon, Mary, Robert (Doria), Rodney (Yvette), Harold, and Daphne (Gwen); her aunt, Frances Dolphus of Macon, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Tyrone and a sister, Nicole.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
