Preston Nedeau

GREEN ISLAND-Preston D. Nedeau, 57, of Green Island passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital following an illness. He was born in Albany, NY the son of the late William Nedeau and Mary Jane Labunski. Preston was a dispatcher and cab driver in the capital district for many years. He was a former member of the Coeyman's Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his fiancé Cynthia Carbo-Stiles, of Green Island ; his siblings Deborah (Bill) Woodford of Pittsburgh, PA, Pamela Labunski of Colonie, Stephanie (Earl) Pittman of Albany, Sandra (Joseph) Lobel of Scotia, Kimberly (Shawn) Kerrigan of Bethlehem and Scott Labunski of Albany. He is the father of Joseph, Crystal, Rose, Amber, Craig, Brittany, and Kaylena. Preston is also survived by several grandchildren including Landon Bryant and Nina Warner, numerous nieces and nephews, and Cynthia's family Rudy and Bernie Carbo and Frank and Tonya Carbo.
In addition to his parents, Preston was predeceased by a daughter Annalise and by his sister Stacey Jo Labunski.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a memorial service to follow at 7PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association in memory of Preston.
