Priscilla A. (Bowen) Briere, 85, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2015 at the Manor at Guilderland Center.
Priscilla was born February 25, 1930, in New York City, NY.
She worked for the Colonie School District as a Bus Drivers Aid for many years.
She loved working and caring for the handicap children on her bus route.
Priscilla enjoyed cooking, baking and decorating for the holidays.
She was predeceased by both of her husbands, Donald Bowen Sr., William Briere; her son, Leonard "Scrappy" Bowen and her daughter-in-law Donna Bowen.
She is survived by her sons, Donald E.(Betty Ann) Bowen Jr., Robert E. Bowen and James E. (Lisa) Bowen. She is the cherished grandmother of Theresa (Jeffrey) Fiori, Michelle Bowen, Christopher Bowen, Nicole Bowen, Dominick Bowen, Vincent Bowen and Benaura Bowen. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at a later date in the Capital City Cemetery, Rensselaer, NY.
