C OLONIE- Priscilla (Pat) Pazienza, 86, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at her residence, surrounded by her loving daughters.
She was born in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late John and Annette Tompkins Daigle. Pat was predeceased in May of this year by her beloved husband of 63 years, Vito E. Pazienza. She was employed as a Statistical Clerk with New York State Department of Social Services for 35 years before retiring. She was a longtime active communicant of Christ Our Light Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and assisted with altar linens and decorations. Pat was a member of the Colonie Towers Silver Streaker's and the Italian Benevolent Society Ladies Auxiliary. She basked in the joy of spending time with her loving family.
Pat is the beloved mother of Nancy Ann (Ray) Cecot and Carol Ann (Don) Smith. She is the cherished grandmother of Christopher Cecot, Theresa Ann (Mike) Cecot-Sherer, Nicholas (Jenn) Cecot, Gregory Gornick and Andrew Gornick. She is the great grandmother of Alex Cecot and Nicholas Cecot-Sherer. Pat is the sister of the late Helen Blair and Rosemarie DiBiase. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her grand puppies Tinker and Chiclett.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday morning at 11:00 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Calling hours will be Saturday morning at Christ Our Light Catholic Church from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Pat Pazienza.
