Priscilla "Pat" Wohlfeld age 94 of Niskayuna, New York passed away peacefully on April 3rd, surrounded by her beloved family and Odin. Pat grew up in Latham and lived there for many years with her husband Bob Smith and daughter Debbie. Pat and Debbie joyfully ran a daycare for many years in Colonie. Later in life she moved to Rotonda West, Florida with her husband Jacob Wohlfeld, where she enjoyed working at the American Legion and the Elks. In 2006, Pat being recently widowed, excitedly moved back to New York to be with her only child, Debbie, son-in-law Claude, and her grandchildren.
Pat was an outgoing sprightly woman who was full of spunk and loved to go out on the town always dressed to the nines with a newly coiffed wig. She loved hosting dinner parties and making gawdy table arrangements. Pat traveled extensively and adored casinos and cruises. Pat prided herself on living independently up until her sudden death.
Pat was one of the most kind and gracious women you will ever meet. She made friends wherever she went, and she and her pepper allergy will be sorely missed. Pat is predeceased by Jack Wohlfeld, Debra Hebert and is survived by her son-in-law Claude, and her grandchildren Janaye, Sasha, and Elijah.
The family will be organizing a private celebration of life, and a burial at a later date and time. Feel free to contact a family member for additional details.
