Ralph C. Devine

ALBANY-Ralph C. Devine passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his brother Michael P. Devine of California, his children Brian G. Devine of Florida and Lisa M. Sheridan of New York, his nephew William Devine of California, as well as several grandchildren. Son of the late Ralph P. Devine and Mary F. Devine, he was born and raised in Albany. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marne Corps. He worked for the University at Albany as a pest control officer, retiring in 1996 after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a lover of all animals, especially dogs, and was a long time member of the Albany Obedience Club. Very proud of his Irish blood, he volunteered much of his time to the Irish American Heritage museum. He was a generous man and was always willing to lend a hand wherever it was needed.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Saratoga National Cemetery.
