Ralph J. Cipollo, Jr.
July 2, 1941 — April 13, 2021
Ralph J. Cipollo Jr., 79, Albany, passed away Tuesday, April13, 2021 at his home in Albany, NY.
He was the fourth child of the late Angela Rose (Farinacci) and Ralph G. Cipollo. Ralph was born and raised in Albany. He attended Phillip Schuyler High School in Albany. After high school he began working at Clarity Publisher as a machinist and remained there for over 30 years. He eventually moved on from Clarity and later became Supervisor at the NY State Senate Print Shop for 20 years before he retired.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren as well as his great grandchild (Mikey). He had a fondness for watching ball games with family at Bleeker Stadium. A diehard Yankees and NY Giant's fan. He also enjoyed the little things in life such as telling stories and making people laugh. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be forever missed by many.
He is survived by his three children, Lawrence (Deanna) Cipollo, Christine (Jerry) Arnold, Anthony (Vina) Cipollo. Grandchildren, Anthony Jr. (Erin) Cipollo, Olivia (Michelle) Cipollo, Samantha Arnold, Amanda Arnold, Breanna Cipollo, also his great grandson Michael Cipollo.
He is also survived by his three sisters, Marie Wood, Georgianna (Joey) Natale and Jacqueline Moore; his brother, Larry K. Cipollo; several nieces and nephews, Dickie, Donna, Debbie, Stephanie, Keith, Kaelyn, Ralph, Angela, Michael, Lisa, and Melissa.
Ralph was predeceased by his brother Frank 'Sonny' Cipollo and nephew Joseph (Joey Jr.).
Friends and Family may call for visitation, Thursday April 22nd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a Celebration of Life to immediately follow at 7:00PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals located 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels. In lieu of flowers in memory of Ralph, please donate to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
