Ralph J. Roberti, Jr.
Ralph J. Roberti, Jr., beloved husband of Elizabeth Ann Roberti, passed away Thursday March 19, 2009. Born in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Ralphael and Fanisha Roberti. Ralph had a love for restoring antique automobiles and was active in many local car clubs over the years. He enjoyed playing guitar and working in his shop and garden. Ralph had a love for life and people that was contagious. He never knew a stranger. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and had operated his own seat cover company for many years. After owning his own business he worked with the New York State Department of Corrections for 17 years.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by 7 children: Wendy (Brian) Clark of Canton, NC, Christopher (Kathy) Roberti of San Diego, CA, Bryan (Jennifer) Roberti of Deltona, FL, Penny (Tim) Huber of San Diego, CA, Dani-Lynne Huffmire of Schenectady, NY, Jacqueline (Robert) McCormack of Cohoes, NY, Jennifer (John) Charland of Brunswick, NY, his brother Joseph (Nancy) Roberti, his sister Delores Takes and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Rose Wells.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
