Ralph Larosa

COLONIE – Ralph A. LaRosa, 70, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at his home. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Archille and Carmella LaRosa. Mr. LaRosa lived in the Capital District since 1983. He was a news stand operator for 51 years, more recently running his news stand at the Empire State Plaza for the last 14 years. Mr. LaRosa loved listening to sports radio and enjoyed good food and dining out. Ralph is the beloved husband of 25 years to Rose M. LaRosa. He is the devoted father of Linda Silva, Jeffrey LaRosa, Chris LaRosa and Gina LaRosa. He is the brother of Angela Narducci and Frank LaRosa. Also surviving are four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 9:00 at St. Clare's Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be private in St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Ralph A. LaRosa.
