NISKAYUNA – Ralph P. Cesare, 91, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 16th 2011. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Paul and Louise Cesare, who emigrated from Italy.
Ralph went to Nott Terrace High School. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Boatswain's mate 2nd Class from 1944 to 1946. Ralph was awarded the Philippian Liberation Ribbon. He worked at the Alco as a Steamfitter. Ralph lived his life to the fullest and devoted it to his wife, children, and God.
Ralph is survived by his beautiful wife of 62 years, Mary (DiGiandomenico) Cesare; his children, Paul Cesare, Mark (Cindy) Cesare, Lisa (Dale) Cesare Jordan; and grandsons, Dillon, Carson, and Wyatt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helen's Church in Schenectady at 9:00 am on Monday. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Albany Office, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205, in Ralph's name.
