October 16, 1944 — January 21, 2015
Schenectady – Ralph E. Shaw, 70, passed away suddenly at his residence on January 21, 2015. Born in Sidney, NY he is the son of the late Robert Shaw and Arlene Howe.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from the New York State Dept. of Health.
Ralph is survived by his children, Nancy (Rob) Guzior, Robert (Nellie) Ponce, David Hendee and Penni Shaw; his grandchildren, Richard Hendee III, Casandra Guzior, Joshua Hendee, Robbie Guzior, Abigail Shaw, Chloe Shaw, Brennan Ponce, Carson Ponce, Sawyer Ponce and Delaney Ponce; his siblings, Claude (Giovanna) Shaw, Fred (Leslie) Shaw and Millie Nowak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ralph was predeceased by his son Richard Hendee and his sister Barbara Howes.
Funeral services for Ralph will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at a later date.
