Randolph W. Browne

GUILDERLAND – Randolph W. "Randy" Browne, 66, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Born in Staten Island, NY he was the son of the Samuel A. and Edna M. Browne. Randy was a Corrections Officer with New York State Dept. of Corrections since 1976, retiring in 1994. He studied and wrote Hebrew. Randy was a Master Calligrapher and has calligraphy work that was sent to Russia, Italy and the Bahamas. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and father and a man of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.


Randy is the beloved husband of forty-seven years to Barbara J. Browne. He is the devoted father of Randy Browne, Jr. of Guilderland and Eric J. Browne of Arizona. He is the cherished brother of Samuel III, Edward and Donald Browne. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 a.m. at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
