ALBANY – Randy Hines was called home on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 14, 1952, he is the son of Willie Mae and George Marbley and the late Mack Kearney. Randy was an Albany resident for most of his life. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving for eighteen years. Randy was a loyal and dedicated employee of the Teresian House. He enjoyed fishing and watching old western movies. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Randelle Epps of Albany and Maurice Hines of Tulsa, OK and his grandsons, Bregarian, Elijah and Thandiwe. He is the brother of Anna Mae Martin, Tyrone and Maryann Hines, Geraldine and Joanne Kearney and Tarryton, Arcell, Wesley, Norman, George, Jr. and Nora Marbley. He is the nephew of Ida Pugh and the uncle of Danielle Marble. Also surviving is Randy's close friend, Willie Vice, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
