Randy J. Guzzo

ROTTERDAM - Randy Guzzo, 55, born June 27, 1953, in West Albany, passed away on May 6, 2009, at his home in Rotterdam. Randy was a graduate of South Colonie Central High School. For twenty-five years, he owned and operated R.J. Guzzo Builders before retiring in 2008. Prior to owning his own business, he served as building supervisor for Power Technologies, Inc. in Schenectady. Randy enjoyed several hobbies, including building model trains, golf, and having regular dinners with his close friends. Randy is survived by his two children Melanie (Jamie) Guzzo of Mechanicville and Michael (Kristin) Guzzo of Rotterdam, his mother Rosemary Guzzo of West Albany, his brothers, John (Nancy) Guzzo and Robert Guzzo, his sisters, Mechelle (Bob) Fuller, Charlene (Johnny) Rombs, and Deborah (Bill) Guzzo, his former wife, Michele Faddegon and his girlfriend Maria Dubyna. He is further survived by several close friends, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Randy dearly valued the love and support of his friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Guzzo.
