Randy Lee Shaw
October 24, 1973 — June 3, 2021
Amsterdam- Randy Lee Shaw, 47, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, June 3, 2021. Born in Cobleskill, Randy was the son of Joyce and the late Robert Shaw. Randy is survived by his daughter Jordyn Shaw and her mother Michelle Shaw. He is also survived by his beloved person, Holly Damm.
Randy loved the outdoors including kayaking, camping, snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle. He was the founder of the "Spyder Quest" event in the Adirondacks held annually, which still continues to this day. But most of all he loved making others laugh.
Randy is also survived by his two brothers, Ronald and Roger Shaw. He will also be missed by his Aunt and Uncle Joanne and Loren Christman, along with many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation online at LiverFoundation.org or to the Crossroads Community Church by mail, 24 Division St, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
A celebration of life will be held at Randy's home 27 New Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010 at 5pm, all friends and neighbors are welcomed.
