Raymond Barosi

NISKAYUNA-Raymond E. Barosi, 84, of Niskayuna, died peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home. He attended Philip Schuyler High School, Class of 1949. He joined the National Guard, BTRY "D" 106 AAA AW in 1951 and in time became Staff Sgt. Raymond was a salesman and kitchen designer for Kitchen Distributors for over 30 years, and then joined Jade Housing. He attended Christ Church (Rte 155) for several years.
Raymond enjoyed being with his family; wife Beverly Dunn Barosi; son Brian (Karen) Barosi; and daughters Patti Manuli (Michael Mina) and Lori (Maurice) McCormick. He was blessed with five grandchildren with whom he shared much fun; Nicholas Manuli, Kyle and Meghan McCormick and Austin and Kara Barosi. Raymond enjoyed camping in the North Country and vacationing at Cape Cod, the Carolinas and Florida.
Raymond and Beverly celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on 12/15/2014.
The family can't thank Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Staff enough for the wonderful care given to Raymond.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 11 Am to 1 PM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1 Pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers and Raymond being an animal lover, contributions may be made to the Northeast Alzheimer Association or to the Mohawk Humane Society would be most appreciated.
