Raymond Allen Briggs, Sr.
October 14, 1947 — March 27, 2024
Raymond Allen Briggs Sr., 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Samaritan Hospital with his loving family by his side. Raymond was the son of the late Charles Allen Briggs and Mary Theresa (Sweeney) Briggs. He was the devoted husband of over 55 years to the late Margaret Lillian Briggs.
Raymond was a baker with Freihofers in Troy for many years.
He loved landscaping, hanging out with his feline companion Ash. He enjoyed camping, traveling and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents and his wife he was predeceased by his brother Dennis Briggs.
Raymond is the loving father of Mary (Jason) Richards, Raymond (Teresa) Briggs Jr., and Scott (Beckie) Briggs. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his brother Kenneth (Sarah) Briggs, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul (Debbie) Savaria and Laura Savaria and several nieces, nephews and family members.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
