Raymond Estrella

SCHENECTADY – Raymond L. Estrella, Sr., 63, of Schenectady, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2006 at his daughter's home. Born in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Ignacio and Milagro Estrella. Ray was proud of being a handyman. He was a "jack of all trades and a master of none." Ray was a talented woodworker and cabinet maker. He loved his children very much and enjoyed spending time with his family. Ray is the beloved father of Raymond L. Estrella Jr., Gina Estrella, Angel, Alberto, Isabel and Beatriz Aviles, Raymond L. Estrella, III and Samuel Estrella. He is the loving brother of Mary, Rose, Susan and Mildred Estrella. Also surviving are his 22 cherished grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his goddaughter, Julie Molyneaux.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
