Raymond E."Coach" Holland, Jr., 82, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2014, with his loving family by his side.
Raymond was born November 21, 1931, the son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Gaunt) Holland.
Raymond proudly served with the United States Army and the Air Force during the Korean War.
He worked for many years as a boxing coach, training the youth at the Albany Housing Authority.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Raymond E. Holland III; his sisters, Agnes Jackson and Anna Mae Foster and his brother Ernest Holland.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Diana (Martinez) Holland; his children; James "Jimmy" Beverly, Tammera Holland, Vanessa (Devan) Combs, Darrell Brown, Kevin Holland, Gino Uzzell, Chela Holland and Nicole Eversley. He is also survived by a host of close relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Stratton VA Medical Center for all of the care and compassion given to Raymond.
Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private
