Raymond J. Levesque

SHERRILL, NY – Raymond J. Levesque, 67, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of Virginia (Barbin) McKeown.
Ray served in the United States Army. He then spent a number of years as a Real Estate Agent and worked for General Electric with around a decade of service. Until his passing, Ray was a self-employed entrepreneur who had many real estate investments. His passions in life included stocks, playing the lottery and he was an avid walker and cycler. Ray loved to travel and enjoyed the company of his friends, family and animals. He was a very unique and unforgettable character who was easy to talk to.
Ray was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Murphy.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dianne (Borst) Levesque; daughter Nicole Levesque of Schenectady; siblings Steven McKeown of Boston, Wendy Healy of Boston, Jeff McKeown of Jacksonville and Martin Levesque of Schenectady, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
