Raymond J. Lincourt, Sr.
June 2, 1932 — August 6, 2013
Raymond J. Lincourt Sr., 81, of Albany, passed away on August 6, 2013 at Albany Medical Center with his family by his side.
He was born on June 2, 1932 in Fall River, MA to the late John and Delia Lincourt.
Raymond proudly served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War and worked as a Manager for Empire Paper Corp. He was an avid dog lover, loved playing the guitar and was an all around handyman.
In addition to his parents Raymond was predeceased by a host of brothers and sisters.
Raymond is survived by his former wife of over 36 years, Madeline (Donohue) Lincourt, his loving children, Raymond (Pat) Lincourt Jr., Virginia Burdick, Daniel (Cathy) Lincourt and Frankie Lincourt. He is the cherished grandfather of Ryan, Laura, Andrew, Christine, Daniel, Amber and Skylar. He is also survived by several sisters and his beloved companion, Mary Nachison.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, Attn: Development Dept. 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204-2718 in Raymond's memory.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 12, 2013 at 12:00 pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 12 at the funeral home. Internment will follow the service in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National VA Cemetery at 2:00pm.
