Raymond J. O'Malley

VOORHEESVILLE – Raymond J. O'Malley, 65, of Voorheesville, passed away on Saturday January 19, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bronx and was the son of the late James and Anne Humphreys O'Malley. Ray was a 1961 graduate of Berne Knox Westerlo High School.
Ray was employed in banking for many years, most recently as Property Manager for Key Bank. For the past five years, he was Property Manger for the Equinox Companies. Ray was a life member and Past Chief of Voorheesville Volunteer Fire Dept. He is a member of the Rural Fire Chiefs Association, Voorheesville Fire Dept Golf League and the Key Bank Quarter Century Club.
He is the beloved husband of 42 years to Carol Farrigan O'Malley. He is the devoted father of Heather (Stephen) Andres and Deborah O'Malley all of Voorheesville. He is the cherished grandfather of Tyler Andres. Ray is the brother of Gerald ( Frances) O'Malley of East Berne, Thomas (Avis) O'Malley of Berne, Barbara Clinton of New Paltz and the late Robert J. O'Malley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 9:30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Delmar. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave).
