Raymond (Mike) LaRose, 75, passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2024 suddenly at his home.
Born on December 26, 1948, in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond and Loretta LaRose, brother of the late Robert LaRose.
Raymond attended Cardinal McCloskey High School and worked for NYS Agriculture & Markets for 35 years. He was a life member of 45 years of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge. He was a passed Exulted Ruler, State Vice President, District Deputy Grand Exulted Ruler and State Trustee. He last served at the Guilderland Elks Lodge for 15 years.
He is survived by his long time companion, Mary Ryan and CeCe the havanese. His sisters, Marlene (late James) Reynolds, Kathleen (Ronald) Samuels and several nieces and nephews along with great and great great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. Interment will be private at the families request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Elks National Foundation, In memory of Raymond LaRose, Guilderland Lodge 2480, 3867 Carmen Road, Schenectady, NY 12303.
