Albany-
Raymond W. Tymula, 79, of Albany passed away December 9, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of the area, working at Meyer's Garage, Toll Motel, Schaefer Brewery and Albany Count Sewer District, where he retired from.
Raymond had a life long love of fishing at Garnet Lake, hunting in the southern Adirondacks and camping. He loved wintering in Florida. Raymond was a proud member of the Midway Fire Dept. for 21 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Darlene, son Todd (Mercedes) Tymula, stepson Patrick (Veronica) Donovan, grandchildren Danielle Shaefer, Louie Martinez, Jose and Jerricho Machio, great grandson Daniel Shaefer, sister Bernice(Kevin) Leyden, aunt Sophie Tymula, cousins Sandra Tymula, Carol Tymula, Patty Wilcox, and nieces Kara and Katie.
A visitation will be held on Thursday December 17th from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie, NY 12205
Social distance practices will be in effect, chapel size is limited to current NYS guidelines and masks are required in the building.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Midway Fire Department, 200 Consaul Rd., Colonie.
