Latham- Raymond W. Peter, Sr. , 92, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016.
Ray enjoyed bowling, gardening, wood working, and antique cars. He also enjoyed attending church at St. Paul's Lutheran, where he was a long term member.
Ray is survived by his son: Raymond (Karen) W. Peter, Jr. ; grand children: Diana (Earl) Steenburg, Robert Relyea Jr., and Julianna Northup; niece: Diane O'Connor; and his five great grand children.
In addition to his parents Frederick and Anna Peter, he was predeceased by his beloved wife Esther; his daughter: Lorraine Relyea; and brother: Arthur Peter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Ray's name to the Community Hospice of Albany at: 310 S. Manning Blvd, Albany, NY, 12208 or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at: 475 State St., Albany, NY, 12203.
