Clifton Park- Raymond Wielt , 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Raymond was the son of the late William and Betty Wielt. Raymond was the devoted husband to Etta for 72 years.
Raymond was an avid aircraft flyer and builder. He loved model steam engines. Raymond loved to spend time working in his shop which was "his domain."
Raymond is survived his loving wife, Etta; his daughters: Patricia and Judy; his son Wayne Thomas (Sandra); siblings: Arlene Quay, Dr. Robert (Mary) Wielt, Kay (Robert) Voehringer, Carol Larned, Honey Turnbull, William "Crow" (Sherry) Wielt, Mickey (Donna) Wielt and Butch Wielt; sister-in-law: Betty Wielt; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his brothers: Warren (Rena) Wielt, Donald Wielt, Alvin (Vivan) Wielt, Bucky (Helen) Wielt; brother–in-laws: Donald Larned and Ed Turnbull; and sister-in-law: Kathleen Wielt.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on June 2, 2016 at The Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Saratoga.
