MIDDLEBURGH – Reese P. "Kaptin" Schroeder, 23, died suddenly at his Middleburgh home on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Reese resided in Schoharie County for most of his life. He was a 2006 graduate of Cobleskill Richmondville Central School District and a long time employee of Cobleskill Dunkin Donuts. Reese was the Middleburgh World Class UFC Champion. He was a great friend to anyone who had the privilege to know him. Reese is the loving fiance' of Elizabeth DiNovo. He is the beloved son of Robert and Yvette DiNovo-Schroeder and Christine Reese. He is the devoted brother of Rachel Schroeder, "First Mate" Alexander Hodge and William Hodge. Reese is the uncle of his favorite "only" niece, Alexena Schroeder. He is the adored grandson of Rodney Schroeder, June Reese, Mary and Bill Riley, Patricia and Anthony DiNovo and Ann Hodge. He is the nephew of Tracy (Keith) Reese, Darlene (Richard) Sinclair, Laurie (John) Waldron, Wayne (Danielle) Riley, Donna Riley, Christopher DiNovo and Joseph DiNovo. Also surviving are many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. "The Kaptin Wuz Here!"
