SCHENECTADY – Regina (Jean) Eames Male Ruch, 84, of Schenectady, passed away on Sunday March 11, 2012.
She was born December 30, 1927 in Albany to the late Edward N. and Catherine Eames. Regina was the eldest of ten children. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Ruch; eight brothers and sisters; her children Karen (Skip) Colvin, Linda (John) Clark, Diana (John) Gannon and Bruce (Martine) Male; stepchildren Sherrie (Nels) Peat, Kevin (Jackie) Ruch, Karen (Kevin) Brown and Lisa (Rodney) Peck. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Avenue Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Schenectady.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 am to 12:30 pm followed by a prayer service at 12:30 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions in Regina's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association Pine West Plaza, Suite 204, Washington Ave Ext., Albany, NY 12205 or Ronald McDonald House, 139 South Lake, Ave., Albany, NY 12208.
