Regina F. Posluszny

COLONIE – Regina F. Posluszny, 88, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen (Myslinski) Plaske Sr. and wife of the late Edwin R. Posluszny.

Regina was a secretary for General Electric in Schenectady and a communicant of St. Clare's Church. She enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchilden.

Regina is the devoted mother of Sandra (Jack) Keleher and Janice (Tony) Martin, all of Colonie. She is the cherished grandmother of Jason (Stacey) Keleher, Justin (Michelle) Keleher, Cory (Becky) Martin, Daniel and Amanda Martin and Bethany (Matt) Vadney. She is the loving great-grandmother of Tarynn, Sidney and Evan Keleher, Jordan and Micah Martin, and Keira and Declan Vadney. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She is the sister of the late Walter Plaske Jr.

Special thanks to the staff at Hospice and to her loving caregivers of several years, especially Anna, Becky, and Kelli. She loved you all so much for your tender loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Regina.
