LATHAM- Regina (Jeanne) A. Kelleher, 85, of Latham went to our heavenly Father on Wednesday September 5, 2007.
Jeanne was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Alice Kelleher. She served in the US Navy as nurse during WWII. Jeanne worked for New York State Department of Labor, manpower and training division for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. Jeanne loved vacationing at her summer home on Schroon Lake. She enjoyed all animals, especially German shepherd dogs. Jeanne was a loving and caring woman and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her brother Paul F. (Mary) Kelleher of Leesburg, FL. She is the beloved aunt of Harold Snyder, Geri McMullen, Betsy Clark, Garry Snyder, Don Hallock, Richard Hallock, Paul J. Kelleher, Debi Grasso and Neil Kelleher. Many grand nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Monday morning at 11:00 at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Latham where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will precede the Mass on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Jeanne A. Kelleher.
