COLONIE – Reneé Bruneau, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of Ruth and the late Anthony Bevilacqua.

Reneé worked for Goodwill for 6 years, and the East Greenbush Diner for 17 years. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking for loved ones, camping, and spending time with her beloved pets Sadie Nugg, Shanealator and the late Mongs.
Along with her father, Reneé was predeceased by her sister Linnette Myers and granddaughter Katrina Eve.

She will be missed by her fiancé of 13 years, James "Changa" Sheehan; daughter Monica Hickey of Colonie; brother Tony Bevilacqua; nephews Michael, Donald, Zachary, Anthony and Brandon, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Reneé's name to Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 or gift cards for food and clothing to Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center, 112 State Street, Room 1118, Albany, NY 12207.
