Reneé F. LeBuis

SCHENECTADY- Reneé F. LeBuis, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2025.

She was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Howard J. and Sara J. Duval. She was predeceased by her husband Brian LeBuis July 16, 2016.

Reneé was a graduate of Mohonasen High School and Maria College receiving her RN degree.

She was passionate about music and playing in the Folk Group at St. Paul’s Church. Reneé was always the life of the party with her friends and family.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her children: Derek Ragone (fiancé Katie Reimers), Alyssa Ragone, Kaylee LeBuis and Emily LeBuis; grandchildren: Ayden Ragone-Tomasone, Nico Ragone, Harper Skawinski, Gianni Ragone and soon to be May 2025- Avery Reneé Shields; and siblings: Catherine Duval and Darren James Duval. Also survived by her dogs, Coco and Sassy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on  Wednesday January 22, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Thursday January 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany St, Schenectady, NY 12304. Entombment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12304.
