Retired Sgtgeorgef. Brown

ALBANY – Retired Sgt. George F. Brown, 53, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011 surrounded by his loving family at St. Peter's Hospice Inn. Born in New Hartford, he was the son of the late Frederick and Marion Brown.
George retired from the United States Army in 1998 after serving his country for 20 years. He enjoyed collecting and fixing clocks.
George is survived by his daughters, Jennifer and Kathleen Brown of Delmar; grandsons Nicholas Brown and Richard Stanley, III; former spouse Sharon Brown of Delmar, and friends Bob and Kathy Young of Albany. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gerald B.H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
