Rhoda M. Hennahan

Guilderland/Rotterdam/Wells, NY - Rhoda M. Hennahan, 89, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Stewart) Cleveland. She graduated from Albany High School (1937) and then Mildred Elley Business School. She was secretary to the manager (Northeast Branch) of General Motors auto insurance (MIC) in Albany from 1957 until retirement in 1975.

She leaves behind many loved ones, both family and friends, including her husband, Paul Hennahan; her daughter Maria Phelan (Michael); her son Martin Hennahan (Patricia Sacca) and beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, nephews, great nephews and great nieces.

There will be a private service and burial. Interment will be at Memory's Garden in Colonie.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center and the Community Hospice of Albany County who showed such care and compassion to Rhoda toward the end of her long illness.
