Schenectady Rhonda Lynn (Ahders) Duell
Rhonda was born on February 4, 1973 at Bellvue Women's Hospital in Niskayuna, NY. As a child she attended Our Saviors Lutheran School with her brothers in Colonie, NY. In her free time she enjoyed baton twirling, adventuring as a brownie girl scout and reading her favorite books.
Rhonda later graduated from South Colonie Central High School with high honors and excellence in foreign language studies.
She then decided to further her passion for learning by attending SUNY Plattsburgh with a major in French. A few years later she met her husband Benjamine Duell with whom she had a son Benjamin Duell Jr.

After her husband's passing Rhonda switched her career focus to serving the lord by working as a secretary at Messiah Lutheran Church in Rotterdam, NY where she raised her son Benjamin. She loved playing with her son and teaching him all about God's glory and grace. Rhonda also greatly appreciated nature and local wildlife, she enjoyed feeding the birds and as an avid lover of animals she made it a point to always adopt cats from local animal shelters. After a long battle with illness Rhonda went home with the Lord on September 1, 2021 at Barnwell Nursing Home.

Survived by her son Benjamin Franklin Duell Jr., by her parents Leonard and Ruth Ahders, Brothers Scott and Steven Ahders also by Uncle Larry Parah, Uncle Leonard Parah, and her Aunt Carlene St. Denis, and several cousins.
Predeceased by her husband Benjamine Franklin Duell Sr.
