Rhonda M. Garrison, 65, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Troy, NY to the late James J. Sr. and Anna M. (Buckey) Snay.
Rhonda enjoyed crocheting for all of her family and friends. She worked for many years with Hudson Valley Community College in the financial aid department until her retirement in 2011.
In addition to her parents, Rhonda was predeceased by her brother James J. Jr.; and her sister Mary V. Snay.
She is survived by her cherished sons; Bruce, James "Jay", Eric, Corey and Robert Garrison. She is the sister of Karen (Win) Slavin, Colleen (Joseph) Castiglione, Patricia (Frank) Ferraro, Anna F. Snay and Christopher "Mike" (Alicia) Snay. She is the adored grandmother of Kaitlyn, Haley, Ryan and Carrissa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
