Ricardo Henderson

SCHENECTADY – Ricardo A. Henderson, 37, of Schenectady, died Friday, July 29, 2005. He was born in Schenectady and is the son of Bertha M. Henderson of Schenectady and the late Howard M. Henderson. A graduate of the former Mt. Pleasant High School, he also attended New Paltz College. Ricardo worked for New York State for a number of years and owned and operated a car dealership. He was currently working as a truck driver for Apollo Trucking, Inc. In addition to his mother, Ricardo is survived by his children, Ricardo A. Henderson, Jr., Devin Henderson and Denaysha Henderson, all of Schenectady and his fiancé, Tina Fordham of Schenectady. He is the brother of Ramona T. Henderson, Patricia E. Spencer, Deborah J. Mills, all of Schenectady, Bonnie Boler and Mack Boler of Union, S.C., Audrey E. Henderson, Lorine M. Rivers and Brenda J. Henderson, all of Albany and Keith Gist of Union, S.C. He is the nephew of Raymond Henderson and his wife, Juanita Henderson of Queens, NY and Betty Strange and Florence Stowe of Beacon, NY. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his longtime friend, Terrell Bell. Ricardo was also predeceased by his sister, Dawn M. Lewis.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady.
