LOUDONVILLE - Richard A. (Dickie) Fucci, 79, of Loudonville, passed away peacefully at the Loudonville Home for Adults on Sunday August 5, 2012 after a brief illness.
He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Augustine and Anna DeGregorio Fucci. Richard had served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was an electrical engineer with Central Elevator in New York City for over 30 years. Richard has resided in the Albany area since 1995.
The family would like to offer their special thanks to the Loudonville Home for Adults for the exceptional care they provided to Richard.
He is the brother of Betty Severino and the late Frank, Jack, James, Gus Fucci and Mary Normile. Dickie is the cherished uncle of Tony Severino, Peter Severino, Anne Marie Lemerise and Donna DiNovo. Many additional nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:15 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Richard A. Fucci.
