GUILDERLAND- Richard (Tine) A. Fuller, 82, of Guilderland, passed away on Sunday February 1, 2009 at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home in Amsterdam after a long illness.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late John M. and Mae E. Hallenbeck Fuller. Tine served in the US Army during WWII stationed in the Philippines. He worked in several capacities for over forty years the General Electric Company in Schenectady, retiring in 1989. He was the former Master of Wadsworth Masonic Lodge #417. He was also active with the Order of the Eastern Star where he served as District Grand Lecturer.
Richard is the beloved husband of sixty years to Margaret A. Groesbeck Fuller. He is the devoted father of Richard J. Fuller and Walter C. (Naomi) Fuller. He is the brother of James L. Fuller and the late John M. Fuller, Doris M. Quinlan, Evelyn Davis and George E. Fuller. He is the cherished grandfather of Nicole E. and Matthew W. Fuller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104 in memory of Richard A. Fuller.
