Richard A. Hotaling

ALBANY – Richard A. Hotaling, 69, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2009 at his home.
Richard was born in Albany and was the son of the late David J. and Elizabeth (Miller) Hotaling Sr. He was a commercial truck driver for several companies in the Albany area for many years. Most recently he was a school bus driver for Durham School Transit in Albany. He enjoyed racing cars in Fonda and going to Saratoga Raceway.
Richard is survived by his sister, Kathrine R. White of Clayton, NC; his brother, David J. (Kathleen J.) Hotaling Jr. of Unadilla; his former spouse, Nancy E. Hotaling of Albany; his uncle, Ernest (Terry) Hotaling of Rensselaer and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Philip F. White.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
