Richard A. Rost, 58, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2015 at his home, with his family by his side.
Richard was born March 24, 1957, in Schenectady to the late Arthur and Lillian Rost.
Richard worked and loved working with General Electric in manufacturing.
He enjoyed fishing, golf and tinkering around and life. He loved talking to
everyone. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers and his sister, Arthur, Daniel and Linda Rost.
Richard was blessed to be the father and step-father of, Jennifer Mary (William) Coplen, Lawrence Joseph (Felicity Wynn) Montanaro, Michelina Elizabeth (Ross) Cyr, Richard Jay Rost, Christian Andrew Rost, Daniel Thomas Rost, Edward D. Campbell and James J. Campbell.
He is the cherished grandfather of Hunter, Caleb, Madeline, Logan, Kody and Hannah Coplen; Savanah, Nathan and Michael Montanaro; Chelsea and James Cyr and Heaven McNulty. Richard leaves his loving partner, Lisa Meisner, his nieces and nephews, Heather, Kim, Marie and Patrick Rost.
Special thanks to Father Domonic Isopo from St. Luke's Church and Anna Marie Montanaro from St. Johns Church for the special gift of peace from Our Lord.
At Richards request funeral Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
