Richard C. Paulette

SCOTIA-Richard "Dick" C. Paulette, 92, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Claremont, NH, the youngest son of seven children to the late Henry and Velner (Waters) Paulette. Richard served in the US Army Air Corp. having served in World War II in the European Theatre. Dick was a dedicated and devoted father and loving husband.
Richard was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Emily F. (Miller) Paulette of Nassau, NY.
Richard is survived by his beloved children Kathleen (Kenneth) Cottrell, Donna (the late James A., III) Lombard, Sandra (Doug) Anderson and Richard C. (Lisa) Paulette, Jr.; his loving grandchildren Zachary Walker (Joseph Wyborski), Meagan Hennessy, Christopher Hartley, Katelyn Cottrell, Molly Hartley, Alyssa Hennessy, Kyle Hartley and Abigail Paulette. He is also survived by nephews and nieces Eugene (Roseanne) Parzek, George, Caroley and Michele (Collins) of Claremont, NH and several great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Hospice and the Patriot Guard Riders of NY regions 4 & 5 for their kindness, love and respect to our father.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 10 to 12 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Richard.
Interment will be at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
