Richard A. Cherney Sr.
June 30, 1941 — July 18, 2017
Ballston Spa- Richard A. Cherney Sr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He was the son of the late Herman and Alice Cherney. He is predeceased by his wife Vicky J. Cherney
Richard worked for many years for New Country Pontiac Buick GMC in Mechanicville before retiring. In his spare time Richard enjoyed carpentry and making memories camping with his family.
Richard is survived by his children, Cynthia Russo (Joseph), Debra St.Andrews (Guy), Pamela DiBacco (William), Richard A. Cherney Jr., Keith Cherney, Mark Cherney (Tracey), Joseph Cherney (Jessica), Charles Cherney and Steven Cherney. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as his siblings, Joyce Greene and Leonard Cherney (Marge).
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 9:00am- 11:00am at New Comer Funerals and Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will follow the calling hours starting at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
