LATHAM- Richard Darnell Colon, 48, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born on June 16, 1970 to Maria M. Colon and Richard Harrell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Lillian M. Burk-Colon and Raquel Chanell Fairclough-Colon and several step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces and nephews.
Darnell loved music and dancing. He enjoyed going to festivals and was proud of his Latin culture. He was a loving, caring, and compassionate person who always encouraged others.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 11am to 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A funeral service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wildwood Programs, Inc. at 1190 Troy Schenectady Road, Latham, NY 12110.
