East Schodack, Richard "Fitzy" M. Fitzgerald, 58, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Richard was the son off Nancy Huyck and the Late Richard V. Fitzgerald.
Richards life long hobbies included racing: drag racing, dirt racing and Nascar. He also enjoyed fishing. And anyone who knew him knows he enjoyed everything neat, orderly and tidy. He always kept his cars in immaculate shape. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family at holidays and birthdays.
Richard will be forever missed by his: mother; Nancy Huyck and stepfather Charles Huyck; sister: Darlene (Fitzgerald) Tomlin and her husband Perry; Laurie (LaRose) Kuscsik and her husband Edward Jr.; and his only brother Mark LaRose and his wife Rebecca. He is also survived by many loving niece and nephews: Joshua Tomlin (& Dorothy), Megan (Tomlin) Swart (John & Johnathon), John Kuscsik, Trever LaRose, Nicholas Barone, Emily and Hailee LaRose.
In addition to his father, Richard is predeceased by his Grandparents Anna Elizabeth Smith & Raymond Smith & Cynthia Fitzgerald and his Uncle Raymond H. Smith.
A small service will be held at St. Johns Luthern Cemetery.
