Richard D. Foster, also known as Dick, passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 88 in Altamont, NY. He was born February 20, 1936, in New Britain CT. Dick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
Dick was a witty person with a slight touch of sarcasm. He enjoyed taking Sunday rides with his wife Jerry, his beloved dogs, and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his son Richard Foster Jr. (Linda Foster), his daughters Arlene Bankowski and Cindy Vogel, as well as her grandsons Shawn Vogel and John Vogel JR, and her great-grandsons Mason and Colton Vogel. Richard is also survived by his brother Ralph Foster, and sister Ritta Baranick.
Richard preceded in death by his father Raymond Foster SR, his mother Cynthia Da Vile, his brothers Raymond Foster JR, William Foster, and his sister Agnes Hatala.
At Richard's request there will be no viewing hours, or services.
